Thanks much for your thoughts and advice.

 It is not possible to tell you how much we love our handsome little boy dog. He has exceeded all expectations in his agility training as far as I am concerned (I have the impression that the instructors feel the same way that I feel). I am working hard to become more experienced at handling on the agility routines they set up for the class - he is learning the IN's and OUT's of agility and so am I. The agility instructors very often ask me to let them take my turn to run Gus through some routine that they have laid out for the class. They are so impressed and taken with him that they take a special interest in him. He charms everyone.

I will certainly keep you informed of his progress,  i.e, I will brag a little like any normal proud Poppa.
